Letter From the Editors
Students and faculty, as Editors in Chief of The Andalusian, we are so thankful to share with you our second issue of the 2025-26 school year.
We are excited to release our first holiday issue of the year. As journalists, our job is to report objectively on Maclay happenings and global news. Our staff works hard to report both sides of an issue, without inferring opinions. Though we are One Maclay Community, there may be multiple viewpoints on news items.
As always, we would like to thank Mr. Norment and the English department for their continuous help and support in making the Andalusian run smoothly. Another thank you to Mr. Beamer for always encouraging us and setting our school paper on a path toward success. Our last thank you is to our advisor, Ms. Croston. Thank you for the endless hours of hard work and guidance you have put in to make this class work. Publication would not be possible without you.
We hope you enjoy our publication and appreciate the time and effort that we have poured into this print. Have a great Thanksgiving break!

Sincerely,
Blair Bayliss and Kate Bascom
