Letter From the Editors

Welcome back Maclay!

As your new Editors in Chief of The Andalusian, we’re excited to kick off the 2025-26 school year. We hope your summer was full of rest, adventure and memories. We now look forward to keeping you connected with all the latest campus news and events.

This year, one of our main goals is to continue improving the accessibility and timeliness of our online coverage while also making our print editions are engaging, interactive and student- focused. We want every issue to reflect the voices of our community and highlight the many stories that make Maclay unique.

Feedback is also something we value deeply; we encourage you to share your thoughts, ideas, and opinions so we can make The Andalusian the best it can be. We are including guest writers to submit their own work on our website!

Finally, we want to thank our faculty, classmates and supporters who continue to push us forward.

Sincerely,

Blair Bayliss and Kate Bascom
