Maclay Mu Alpha Theta Places Fourth Overall at Lincoln Regional

On Saturday, Feb. 7, the Maclay Mu Alpha Theta math team competed at the Lincoln Regional Competition. Maclay entered teams in the Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus and Statistic divisions and placed fourth overall. 


The competition, held at Lincoln High School, is the second to last regional in this school year’s competition season. Maclay placed third in the Statistics, Precalculus and Calculus team divisions, and fifth in the Algebra II division. Top individual performances included freshman Trisha Patel who placed seventh in the Precalculus test and sophomore Kai Okui who placed second out of 50 students in the individual Calculus category.


The math team is now preparing for their upcoming regional at FSUS on March 7.
