Pumpkin patch

Visiting a pumpkin patch with your friends or family is one of the perfect activities to do to get into a fall mood. Tallahassee has an assortment of pumpkin patches all throughout the town. For example, the Faith Presbyterian Pumpkin Patch is just down Meridian Road. The pumpkin patch opens at the beginning of October and has an abundance of pumpkins and gourds all from Native American Tribes in New Mexico. A percentage of the income goes toward the youth programs at the Church and the other goes back to the Native tribes. After picking out your ideal pumpkin or pumpkins, you can get creative and carve fun spooky designs into them. Going to a pumpkin patch is an easy way to enjoy the season and create fun memories.

Watching festive movies

With all those fresh baked goods warm in your stomach, grab a blanket and cozy up on the couch for a festive movie marathon. “Hocus Pocus” is a great movie to watch this time of year. It perfectly captures the spooky and fun vibes of the season because the story takes place on a Halloween night. It is filled with many funny, magical and spooky moments that will get you into the Halloween spirit.
