2024 Season of “The Bachelor”

“The Bachelor” is a popular, fan-favorite reality TV show that first debuted on March 25, 2002. Each season follows a bachelor with several romantic interests; over several weeks, he must choose one to be his fiancée. Throughout the season, the bachelor eliminates candidates based on the bond he has with them and whether or not he can see a future together. The 2024 season of “The Bachelor” starring Joey Graziadel premiered on Jan. 22, 2024 with over 32 contestants on night one. 

Episode one focuses on introductions between Graziadel and the contestants during cocktail hours at the bachelor mansion. First impressions are crucial when it comes to the women competing because whichever girl wows Graziadel the most is given the first impression rose, which means they immediately qualify to stay another week. There were 32 girls introduced on night one. As the season progresses Graziadel will then offer one-on-one dates, group dates and even the opportunity to travel around the world. Once his journey hits the eight-week mark hometown dates, fantasy suit overnight dates and meeting Graziadel’s family will also be offered to the remaining women. Once week 12 rolls around the bachelor will finally be able to get down on one knee and propose to the love of his love. 

Contestant-wise many fans were eager to learn more about Daisy Kent, Maria Georgas and Kelsey Anderson. It was instantly clear after night one that all three contestants had a spark with Graziadel. “The Bachelor” star himself also immediately won fans over after awing them with his charm and charisma. He often establishes a level of trust and respect straight away when spending one-on-one time with the women. So far, season 28 has kept things classy, compared to recent seasons where things tend to get a bit steamy right off the bat. 

As far as this new season goes, it seems Graziadels and the girls are genuinely in it for the experience and giving each other their all. The preview teased many strong connections, conversations and fights along with an unexpected turn of events. After night one it is still unclear as to which girl Graziadel may choose, but after seeing the way he interacted with Kent many fans are convinced she will win his heart. As their journey continues, season 28 is worth a watch.
