On Wednesday, Sept. 30, a representative from Florida State University (FSU) visited Maclay to provide information regarding the application process and answer students’ questions. The representative, Natalie Garner, handed out FSU pamphlets that included application deadlines, the Class of 2026 admitted student profile, a list of majors and other facts about the university.

Garner also shared tips about the different application cycles students can apply for: Early Decision by Oct. 15, Early Action by Oct. 15, Regular Decision by Dec. 1 and Rolling Decision by March 1. According to the admitted student profile, the middle 50% of students had GPAs ranging from 4.3 to 4.6, ACT scores from 31 to 34, CLT scores from 102 to 104 and SAT scores from 1380 to 1480.

Students are looking forward to using the information from the visit as they continue their college application process. With deadlines approaching, the visit gave prospective Seminoles a better understanding of what to expect and how to prepare for applying to FSU.
