How to Watch Multiple NFL Games at Once

As the NFL season starts to heat up, it can be difficult to decide what game to watch. It is especially hard when multiple games are on at once. Youtube TV is now offering a multiview option where it is possible to watch four games at the same time. Other ways to watch multiple games at once is through NFL RedZone or on multiple devices.

Football fans are really enjoying the new ESPN Multiview because of the many benefits that come with this option. One of these benefits is that fans can watch up to four games at once, they will no longer have to choose just one game to watch. Fans favor multiview because they can pick which games to watch. Multiview also offers a live stat panel and game highlight plays; fans love the highlight plays because even if their game is not featured on Multiview, they can still watch parts of it. Multiview is a great way to watch multiple games at once while still getting to see important plays and stats from other games.

NFL RedZone is another platform that offers viewing of multiple games at the same time. RedZone is a live streaming channel that shows every touchdown and exciting play from all the live NFL games. It switches between games to show the big moments from the 20 yard line to the end zone. American television reporter for the NFL network, Scott Hanson, brings 7 hours of football to viewers every Sunday. At the end of the day, RedZone puts every touchdown from the whole day into a highlight reel for viewers to watch called the “Touchdown Montage”.

The only downside of RedZone is that while it used to be commercial free, it now has ads. Throughout the 7 hours, there are 4 commercials each 15 seconds long. RedZone has 3 different types of viewing options that show multiple games at once. The first one is double-box. Double-box shows two games at one time. The second is quad-box that shows 4 games. Octo-box is the third one and it shows 8 games at once. Sometimes during double-box, one side will be a game and the other side will be an ad that then switches to another game or goes to single-box. Many fans were mad about RedZone switching to having ads, but it is still a good platform to watch multiple games at once and see the best parts of each game.

If fans do not want to use Multiview or Redzone, they can watch multiple games on different devices. It is common to have one game playing on a TV, a monitor, a laptop and a phone. While Multiview and RedZone are good options, some fans prefer to watch games this way because they get to pick which games to watch.

“I usually watch games on RedZone, but sometimes I have a game on my phone, on my TV and on my monitor,” freshman Hudson Hoyt said. “I also sometimes have one on my Xbox.”

Watching games on multiple devices through Multiview or through RedZone are all ways that NFL fans can watch multiple games at once, without having to choose a specific game to watch.
