Created on Sept. 1, 2006, by the founders David Baszucki and Erik Cassel, Roblox is a popular online gaming platform. Users play, create and share games, while connecting with others from around the world. Unlike traditional video games that have only one single experience, Roblox hosts millions of games.

With numerous games available, deciding what to play can be just as difficult as finding a favorite. One player may enjoy creating a story in a roleplay game, while another prefers playing a survival game with friends.

This month, three Roblox games have attracted large player communities and offered unique experiences to each user. Looking at player charts, such as average number of players, gameplay and features can help show why these games have risen to popularity.

1. Steal An Egg

Steal An Egg was created on July 25, 2026, by the developer ‘mistfitsbsthree’ and quickly rose to popularity. The main objective of the game is to collect and steal valuable eggs while running away from monsters. When players hatch their eggs, the animals generate online and offline income. Using the money, players can upgrade their pen to store more animals, upgrade the treadmill to become faster, advance to new biomes or purchase trails to multiply speed.

In the game, there are multiple biomes, such as the Lake, Cherry Blossom and Angels, where players can unlock new and unique animals from different eggs. As players progress to new and farther biomes, the eggs become harder to steal because it takes more speed to outrun the monsters.

On average, around 2 million Roblox users play the game each day. This game attracts players through the constant thrill of being chased by monsters, stealing valuable eggs, discovering new animals and expanding their collection. The combination of progression and new discovery encourages players to keep playing.

2. Brookhaven RP

Brookhaven RP is a game where players are teleported into the city of Brookhaven and create their own stories. The game was created on April 20, 2020, by Wolfpaq and is now developed by Voldex. Players have multiple places to roleplay, such as the motel and pool, that encourage their imagination to run wild.

In the game, players can choose unique homes, vehicles, and roleplay items.  Players can also edit their avatars with numerous clothing and accessories.

Every day, around 600,000 users play Brookhaven. The game’s simplicity and accessibility attract players. Also, the players do not need in-game currency to access roleplay items. This allows players to create their own stories and express their imagination without a paywall.

3. Murder Mystery 2

Created on Jan. 18, 2014, by Nikilis, Murder Mystery 2 is a survival game where players are assigned different roles: innocent, sheriff or murderer. The innocent’s is to hide to survive the round, while the sheriff’s goal is to protect the innocent and shoot the murderer. Meanwhile, the murderer’s goal is to kill the innocents and the sheriff while avoiding getting caught.

There are different maps that players can choose, such as the Research Facility, Factory and Hospital. Each map has a different theme and layout with different gameplay twists, allowing players to have more fun. Another major part of the game is trading, collecting and crafting weapons obtained from mystery boxes.

On average, 300,000 users play Murder Mystery 2 each day. The suspense of receiving a role for each round and the thrill of playing out the given role attracts players. The game also has collectible weapons and gacha elements, appealing to players who enjoy collecting rare and unique items.

Whether users are looking to collect items, build a life in a roleplay, or play out a suspenseful role, Roblox has something that appeals to every type of gamer.
