On Monday, April 15, the Multicultural Appreciation Club (MAC) hosted its semiannual culture fair. The club, aiming to spread excitement for foreign traditions, hosts a culture fair once each semester. Club members choose a country from the selected list and create a famous dish of their chosen country. The 2025 spring culture fair featured delicacies from Ecuador, France, Japan and Senegal.
Students and faculty alike came to the courtyard to sample some of the wide variety of delicacies. Each country had a table set up in the courtyard where patrons could take their pick of food options. Each table held a poster containing pricing for each food item and fun facts about the respective country.
“[My favorite part] was being able to experience and try all the different foods from the different countries,” sophomore Alexandra Holland said.
Culture fair gives participants, whether they be club members or hungry students, the opportunity to be exposed to foreign cultures and traditions. The fair acts as a learning experience while also providing access to an exciting lunch.
