Gallery: Maclay’s 2025 November Book Fair

Adventure Awaits: A young reader browses the categories of books in search of her afterschool read.

Background Noise: A bird feeder video is played in the background to occupy any parents patiently waiting for their child to pick out a book.

Mother-Daughter Bonding: The book fair is the perfect opportunity for parents and children to spend time shopping together.

Peas In a Pod: The daughter and son of Library Director David Low pose for a cute photo.

Prop Building: The book fair features a book tower, donated by Maclay’s theatre department. The prop had student names engraved on it, adding a sense of community within the book fair.

Showcase: Maclay School hosted their book fair the week of Nov. 3-7, with a broad categorization of novels. From Beyblade manga, to illustrated pug books, to “I Survived,” the fair had whatever readers wanted.

Sport Fanatic: An elementary schooler looks up and down the shelves for the perfect sports
book to pick up.

True Classic: There were many children’s books at the book fair, including the classic, “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss.

Wide-Shot: The book fair is split up into organized tables and shelves, making it easy to navigate through the fair.

Fun for All Ages: Two grandparents pick up a book after the annual Grandparents Day event hosted by Maclay.
