The Maclay Honor Council is a group of 12 students who examine students accused of violating the Honor Code. After signing up to be considered for Honor Council, the students are then elected through teacher recommendations and are voted in by their peers.

The Honor Council’s purpose is to determine consequences and help students who are found guilty work through and grow from their mistakes. Students who have received a disciplinary offence within the previous 365 days are not eligible to be on council.

The Honor Council is composed of four seniors, four juniors, two sophomores and two freshmen. The 2025-26 council members are as follows: Suhani Gawde, Will Hunkapiller, Santi Nunez, Max Colon, David Barton, Jediah Stewart, Avery Campbell, Regan Mayfield, Autumn Daniels, Everett Slocum, Raquel Gonzalez Loumiet and Luke Jackson.

These students will be sworn in after reciting an oath during the Honor Signing, officially making them part of the council.
