The Maclay Marauders played against the St. John Paul II Panthers on Friday, Jan. 23. The Marauders lost 44-48, making them 3-19 on the season. Although the loss added to their rough season, the Marauders were determined to play strong on the court, no matter their record. The Marauders played hard to catch up in the second half after being down in the first half by 16 points. The team was coming off of a recent loss to the Leon Lions, the Marauders hoped to beat the Panthers in hopes to start a winning streak.

“We could have played full court defense the entire game to play a better game,” sophomore Brody Butcher said.

The Marauders next home game is on Friday, Jan. 30, against the Deerfield Windsor Knights. Make sure to make it to their last regular season game!
