Gallery: Maclay’s Annual Costume Contest in the Courtyard

Twinkle Toes: Dressed in tights and tutus, seniors Dani Nakis, Suhani Gawde, Malia Morton, Lucy May and Molly McDonald showcased their cute costumes for the school day, ballerinas.

Professions: Dean of Upper School Student Affairs Heather Bas rocked the costume of a baseball player and senior Easton Shiver dressed as a soldier, ready to tell us his war stories from the military, or just what he plans to have for lunch later.

Staying Curious: Seniors Tea Agramonte and Ava Claire Williams dressed as the classic cartoon duo Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat. They brought a nostalgic feeling to this year's Halloween contest.

Tails and Fur: Juniors Lauren Ferraro and Kayleigh Mitchell dressed in their Buccees onesies. Fun fact, they got these onesies on Dr. Fitzpatrick's trip to New Orleans not too long ago when students made a quick stop at fan favorite Buccees.

Thieves: Juniors Lily Money, Kate Hartmann and Antonia Nowels, adorned in jewels, dressed as the Louvre robbers. They wore gloves, reflective vests and big shiny crowns to complete the look.

What’s for Breakfast?: Winners of the costume contest were seniors Belen Rambana, Baker Dean and Abbie Schaffer dressed as a Waffle House Superstar breakfast: eggs and bacon, a classic adored by all Maclay students.

Major League Soccer: Freshman Henry Harris, Mirko Usina and Matthew Nowels dressed as ASG’s MLS next soccer players. Catch them on the soccer fields after school, these freshmen are ready to play!

Subway Surfers: Looks like Jake and Tricky from Subway Surfers are taking a break from vandalism and running from the police to compete in the costume contest. Oh wait, it is just juniors Sophia Lee, Emmi Cayer and Camryn Chittenden rocking an amazing costume.

Ready to Save the Day: Juniors Bella Krizner, Layla Haffez, Madelyn Singleton and Emerson Henn dressed as DC Superheroes. They kept the school safe, especially from certain thieves roaming the campus.
