As August comes to a close and Homecoming approaches on Sept. 26, the results of the Upper School Homecoming Court nominations have been announced.

Students voted for their Homecoming Court representatives using a link sent during homeroom on Aug. 26. Two freshmen, four sophomores, six juniors and eight seniors are given the distinction each year.

The results were announced later that afternoon. This year, the freshmen representatives are Kensie Cooper and Tripp Whitmore, and the sophomores are Mia Fasig, Emerson Henn, Clayton Antohi and Brett Lee. The junior representatives are Caroline Edwards, Chloe Kerr, Ellie Witters, Day Brown, Ford Brown and Henry Proctor. Finally, for their last year at Maclay, the elected seniors are Kayleigh Mitchell, Avery Campbell, Keelie Crumbaker, Layla Hafez, Christopher Foos, Beau Beshears, Shaw Sembler and Jace Wright.

With the court now selected, students highly anticipate the voting and announcement of Homecoming King and Queen. The winners will be announced during halftime at the Homecoming football game on Friday, Sept. 25.
