Gallery: A Roomy Reset for Math and Robotics

Grand Opening: Next to the Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) now stands Maclay’s biggest construction project of the year, the new Math and AI Building.

Derusted and Ready to Run: Middle school computer science teacher Dean Gargulio's robotics now boasts a spot in the new building, with much more elbow room for programming and shaping the robots.

Freed Storage: Robots now rest easy in the right corner of the room. They’re no longer cluttered onto shelves and have much less risk of breaking.

Still Compliant: The iconic playtable from the old room has been moved over, alongside other memorable posters to keep the environment alive.

What Does the Future Deem?: With the new Math and AI Building being integrated into marauder life, the Maclay community wonders what will come next.

From Zero: Upper school math teacher Katie Walker has been given a new spot in the Math and AI building, yet she maintains her old class spirit.

Advanced Aim: Upper school math teacher John Gussaroff has also been given a blank slate in the new building, bringing some Mu Alpha Theta memories along with him.

Eternally Prized: The Maclay Mu Alpha Theta’s numerous awards can now be shown off in all their glory next to the formulaic wall.

Extravagant Equating: Upper school math teacher Katy Gimbel also has a new room. It’s the most decorated math room as of now, with the most flair and personality.

Materials and Decoration: Gimbel has brought in a shelf stacked with math prep books and memorabilia, as well as ornately placed pugs.
