Maclay School Picture Day 2026

Picture day is a classic start-of-the-school-year event, and the 2026-27 school year was no different. On Aug. 26, 2026, Maclay School held its annual Picture Day in the Cartee Gym. It was a one-school event, with all students and faculty posing proudly for the camera. Yearbook staff led the day’s procedures, directing students to their respective photo booths. The photos were taken by Leonard’s Studio.
The main purpose of the photos is for the yearbook. Each student’s picture will be featured on their class page, and using the official school photos allows for consistency throughout the yearbook. The photos are also used for student IDs and Veracross accounts.
In the yearbook, seniors use their formals and casuals in place of the classic school photos that other grades feature; this causes their yearbook pages to look slightly different. Regardless, seniors still participate in Picture Day, allowing for the day to truly be a one-school occasion.
