After returning from Thanksgiving break, the Maclay Marauders were determined to get a win and played a challenging game against the Florida High Seminoles. The Marauders started the game off strong, however, the Seminoles were able to come out on top defeating the Marauders 3-0.

“Before games, we do light training focusing on strategic aspects that will best prepare us for our opponent,” senior captain Neely Oberste said. “We are able to work as a team because of the bonds we form with each other as friends.”

In both halves, the Marauders took a lot of shots on goal and had many close shots at scoring. After the close loss, the Marauders record is now 1-5-1, and the team looks to stay strong for the second half of the season.

The Marauders next game is Friday, Dec. 5, at St. Augustine High School. The Marauders are hoping to add a win to their record and play their best, make sure to make it to this game to support the girls!
