On Wednesday, March 19, Maclay’s lacrosse team played away against the Lincoln Trojans. In this game, the Marauders blew Lincoln out of the water, beating them by a score of 16-2. Maclay had nine different goal scorers, with freshman Barrett Brown leading the team with four goals.
“It was a good team win,” junior Blake Wilson said. “We were able to get everyone in and it was all around a great time.”
The Marauder's also had a player hit a big milestone, with senior Carson Stockton totaling 200 ground ball pickups in his career. This puts Stockton high on the list all time for ground ball pickups in Maclay history.
“It is a great achievement,” Stockton said. “It really shows how all of my hard work has paid off on the field.”
The Marauders plan to keep on winning when they play at and against Niceville on March 21.
