Puka Nacua Sued Over Alleged Antisemitic Comment and Bite

The sports world received yet another shocking news headline on Wednesday, March 25. This time, it was Los Angeles Rams’ wide receiver Puka Nacua, as he has been sued over a report of an anitsemitic remark and biting a woman.
Surprisingly, this is not the first time Nacua has been a part of some controversy. Back in Dec. of 2025, Nacua performed a gesture on a livestream that was deemed anitsemitic, which he later publicly apologized for. However, this incident seems to be more serious, as legal action is being taken by the victim.
This alleged incident happened during New Year’s Eve last year in Century City, where the accuser, Madison Atiabi, claims Nacua made an antisemitic remark that made her uncomfortable and distressed, as she is Jewish. She also claimed that later that night, he bit her on the shoulder. Atiabi filed a lawsuit over these claims, which charged Nacua with gender violence, assault and battery and negligence. However, he claims that her accusations are not legitimate, as he is fighting for his innocence.
Puka’s hearing is scheduled for Apr. 14, where he will hear the court's final decision on the lawsuit. He, and many Rams fans, hope that he is found innocent, as he was a big role in their success last year and is due for a contract extension this off season.
