2025 World Series Overview
On Friday, Oct. 24, the Los Angeles Dodgers will take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2025 MLB World Series. Each of these teams have gone through multiple rounds of the playoffs in order to get to the coveted World Series. The Dodgers are starting the seven-game series as favorites to take home the title, with -225 odds to win. The Dodgers’ lineup also includes the likely National League MVP Shohei Ohtani, who hit three home runs and had 10 strikeouts in the NLCS. Additionally, the Blue Jays had a better regular-season record and the best record in the American League.
“I think the Blue Jays are gonna come out with the win,” freshman Walker Truesdell said. “The Blue Jays are coming off a lot of momentum with the big win.”
Each team has played a rigorous schedule so far, and it will be exciting to see who takes home the championship.
