FSU Kicker Arrested

Florida State University kicker, Conor McAneney, was arrested on Wednesday, Mar. 18 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Once these reports were released, McAneney was suspended indefinitely from the Seminoles football team.
McAneney was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, trespassing and resisting with violence. Police reported McAneney as uncooperative and violent. After being removed from a bar, he reportedly attempted to fight an officer and pull him down.
He is facing two third-degree felonies for battery and violence, as well as a misdemeanor charge for trespassing. McAneney is now at Broward County Jail with a bond listed at $2,750.
Though McAneney is off the team, FSU still has other kickers, Gabe Panikowski and Brunno Reus, to kick in his place. The Seminoles will hope to forget this before their first game on Saturday, Aug. 29.
