Frozen 3 Teaser Gives First Look

On Aug. 15, Disney’s D23 Ultimate Fan Event gave “Frozen” fans and attendees their first look at “Frozen 3,” teasing an exciting and darker adventure. Beloved actors Kirsten Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) and Josh Gad (Olaf) will all reprise their roles as cherished and nostalgic characters.

The teaser opens with the classic northern lights, where a snowflake transforms into an icy butterfly. The butterfly flies into Arendelle, where Anna and Kristoff are celebrating their wedding, and turns into a gem that Elsa picks up, opening a portal to an unknown world. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf journey through it and discover a snowy land where they encounter a mysterious woman surrounded by butterflies, with short black hair, a dark cape and striking ice powers. Her face isn't revealed, but she appears villainous and has been searching for Elsa. 

Alongside the teaser reveal, Gad performed a song at D23 about Olaf’s new love interest, Samantha. With mysterious elements raising questions, fans will have to wait until Nov. 24, 2027, to see what awaits the sisters.
