D4vd Got Arrested for Murder

David Anthony Burke, widely known as the singer D4vd, was arrested on April 16, 2026 without bail. He is formally charged with murder, sexual abuse of a minor and mutilation of human remains in connection with the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Hernandez’s remains were found decomposing in body bags stationed in the trunk of a Tesla registered under Burke on Sept. 8, 2025, the day after she would have turned 15. 

Hernandez was identified by dental radiograph on Sept. 16 due to the poor condition of her remains. She was described by her family as loving and strong, and they reminisce on the time they spent with her in a public statement. It has been stated that Burke murdered her to prevent her from ruining his career as a musician. Burke is pleading not guilty to all charges and is facing a maximum sentence of life without chance of the death penalty or parole.
