The Investigation Into Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance Continues

On Feb. 1, 2026, Nancy Guthrie, mother to the “TODAY” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, was reported missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona. Two weeks into the investigation, she is still missing and is believed to have been kidnapped.
Nancy Guthrie was last seen on Jan. 31, while visiting her daughter, Annie Guthrie. After she failed to meet up with a friend the next morning, her family checked on her home only to discover that she had disappeared.
On Feb. 10, there was a major development: The FBI released security footage from Nancy Guthrie’s doorbell camera. The footage showed a frightening figure whose face was obscured by a ski mask. The intruder wears an Ozark Trail backpack along with a dark jacket and light pants. They then attempted to take down the camera: first by hand and then by using a branch retrieved from the surrounding foliage.
Another potential break in the case, a glove discovered two miles from Nancy Guthrie’s home, proved to be a dead end as the DNA was unidentifiable.
The investigation continues, and Americans await with bated breath for any promising developments.
