Dancing With the Stars Judge Derek Hough Announces Birth of Baby with Wife Hayley Erbert Hough

On Jan. 5, 2026, Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert Hough announced the birth of their baby, Everley Capri Hough, through Instagram. The post was later reposted by the official Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) account. Everley Capri Hough was born on Dec. 29, 2025, and welcomed with open arms as the newest addition to both the Hough and DWTS families. Fans were ecstatic to finally see the announcement, sending messages of congratulations and love in the comments and reposts.

Since the pregnancy announcement on July 22, 2025, fans have been buzzing to meet the baby and learn her name. Hough and Erbert’s relationship has been fan favorite ever since they first got together back in 2015, eventually sealing the deal on Aug. 26, 2023. All eyes were on them when Erbert suffered a brain bleed while on tour with Hough in Dec. 2023, an incident that nearly took her life. After many surgeries and a long recovery, Erbert returned to the dance floor to dance with Hough during the filming of DWTS Season 33. 

The couple had many challenges that they had to overcome, but every challenge was worth it when they were introduced to their little miracle. With the excitement of the new addition to the Hough family, fans have one question they are thrilled to have answered: Will Everley become a future dancer and follow in both her parents’ footsteps?
