No Excuses - Van Leuven reads the offense so she can plan her next defensive strategy.

Head In The Game - Junior Claire Smith takes a free kick after being fouled. “It feels really good to win because we went into the game knowing it was going to be competitive,” Smith said. “I think the fact that we won 8-1 was a huge confidence booster. I believe the momentum from winning this game will help us in our next game.”

Goal! - Storey and Burleson dominate the game scoring three goals each. The game concludes, Maclay taking the win 8-1. The girl’s soccer team will advance to the second round of regionals after their win against Williston Middle High School. “I’m excited to advance because it’s another chance to compete against tough competition and play with my teammates,” team captain Neely Oberste said.
