On Oct. 28 in Ontario, Canada, thieves stole a refrigerated trailer carrying 30 pallets of whipped cream. Investigators believe that the whipped cream stolen is worth up to $80,000 while the trailer itself is about $50,000. The theft happened early in the morning but was not reported until 11 a.m., when a manager checked in for work. According to Ontario police, the trailer was hooked up to and towed by a truck at around 4:30 a.m.

For Ontario, this dairy heist was not the first; actually, numerous dairy heists valuing up to $8,000 had occurred throughout the year. Currently, there are no suspects, and the police have no information about the thieves; no cameras were active, and no vehicles were identified other than the trailer. Given the sudden heist, police suspect that the operation was both organized and came from inside the workplace. However, the motive is unclear, as whipped cream is not known to have value on any black markets.
