Halloween Horror Nights’ Deathly Afraid Necklace

Debuting for the first time this year, Halloween Horror Nights now provides their guests an opportunity to add on a “Deathly Afraid” necklace to tickets. This necklace gives guests who are easily or prefer not to be scared a tamer experience when walking around Universal.
The necklace is a lanyard with a clear disk on the end of it; it is accessorized with a skull and crossbones, which is surrounded by red blood splatter, with its title, “Deathly Afraid,” printed above. At night, these necklaces glow red so that scare actors can easily see them and know when not to scare.
When walking around the park, scare actors are instructed to ignore the person wearing this necklace, even though these necklaces are labeled as purposeless. While this necklace does not guarantee a completely scare-free experience in the park, it does cancel out direct interaction with actors and forces them to keep their distance when they see it.
These necklaces only work in scare zones and public areas outside of haunted houses and rides, but not inside the attractions themselves.
Will you or someone in your group buy this necklace and be the first to be labeled the scaredy-cat?
